Rebranding our company is a big deal, and we're really excited to be Teleplace. Apologies to those customers and friends of the company who will miss the old name, but our company has reached an important inflection point with enterprise and government customers. We have become the trusted collaboration platform for organizations like the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Intel, Chevron, and BP, and it was important for our brand to reflect the business productivity, security and robustness that are critical to these customers.
When looking at new names, we asked our customers what they liked about our solution relative to traditional web conferencing or collaboration approaches. They told us very simply: "It's not a meeting, it's a place." Teleplace provides all of the benefits of a shared physical conference room or operations center, while enabling new capabilities such as shared document editing, "smart rooms" that automatically update reports before meetings, and virtual meeting recording and broadcast.
